Commonly asked questions

What is our goal?

Our goal is to share and spread the knowledge of Laya yoga by investing this knowledge into children, the future of our world. Laya yoga connects us to our inner strength and Yogatales which seeks to expand Laya yoga as a permanent alternative therapy for children in hospitals.

What if a child doesn’t feel any change after listening to the stories?

There are many alternative therapies in the world and which therapy benefits your child is very individual and particular. This is one of many alternative methods that is based on yoga and helps a person reach into his or her reserve of inner strength, and it has been proven to work on Liya and many other children who have gone through illness and other challenges. Sometimes it seems like the stories don’t have an effect because we often don’t see an external change, but they do have an effect on the subconscious mind over time.

Is there any research to show that yoga tales (music and laya yoga) are an effective intervention for good sleep?

Not yet, but we are in the process of developing a research proposal so that the positive scientific results can be seen in the scientific community as peer-reviewed and published research.

How can you help?

It’s very simple.

  1. After listening to yogatales you can write to us about yourself and what changes, if any, you or your child felt.
  2. If you have connections in hospitals contact us to support us in giving these stories to children in hospitals and asking parents to write reviews. We are now collecting these reviews to help us in our research.
  3. If you can, donate anything you wish to support the development of our project. We are grateful for any amount.
